Our History
1996
We fabricate the first horse walker on the family property in Honhardt, Germany, and the Uwe Kraft Horse Walker Company is born.
1997
In just a year, we attend USA trade fairs, meet riders, trainers and veterinarians, and sell Ground-Standing walkers. We soon outgrow our space.
2000
Uwe's brother Frank joins the team. Our catalogue soon expands with Oval Rail-Gliding walkers, and the company expands with a storage facility in Kentucky, USA.
2004
Kraft Brothers Inc is established near Lexinton Kentucky, USA.
2006
A decade of success, innovation and growth meant a need for yet more space--new offices are built in Germany--
2007
--and a new manufacturing plant built in Winchester, Kentucky.
2011
The decade continues with the development of the Water Walker and more innovations in equine health. We become regulars at trade show events, join social media, (follow us on Facebook and Instagram!) and make friends all over the world.
2014
Kraft presents at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival.
2015
Kraft now has products in 55 separate countries.
The next few years see the addition of the Ring-Gliding walker to our catalogue. We become key vendors at the Equitania trade fair, and a sponsor of the FEI World Equestrian Games.
2019
Our Round Stable with options for stalls, grooming stations, lunging room and added walker is introduced.
2021
25 years of success... simply the best!!!

2022
Kraft Brothers is brought into the fold, under the sole ownership of Uwe Kraft, with Cris Peysson as CEO. We're now officially international!
2023
Kraft sponsors a Hunter's Derby at the World Equestrian Center – Wilmington Fall Classic.
We design our biggest walker so far - a 66 horse capacity Ring Glider to be built in Qatar.
2024
